When my estranged brother dies in Thailand, I begin a journey filled with revelations and challenges, served with a side of humour, as I attempt to honour his last wishes and settle his estate in a foreign country with a very different culture, a complicated language and a complex legal system. 

Amid the missteps and mayhem, as I rummage through his belongings and learn about his life in Thailand, I have conflicting emotions. Still, in my heart, I am searching for a connection to ease the regret for the one we lost 30 years ago.
